Renée Tambe knew that when she was going to drop the name of a national chain storage company from her business and put her own last name on the building, that there were a few things that would have to separate her from the big box establishments.
Tambe Self Storage has more than a few niches that makes it unique and special. Number one, when the phone rings, you get a real live person at the property. We don't use call centers and impersonal transactions. We offer a tour of the facility and are here to help you decide on what type and size of storage you need.
The facility was built from the ground up, with a vision of being a beautiful and inviting business in Renée’s hometown of Victor, NY. Growing up in a family of contractors, building a business became an obvious option to utilize her late father’s property. She demolished and retrofitted her Father’s manufacturing business into a beautiful self-storage facility. 60,000 square feet of temperature-controlled space was just the beginning. The land was developed, and 27,000 square feet of state-of-the-art outdoor storage structures were added.

We stored our camper van with Tambe over winter 2025/2026. Drop off was inside, everything was hooked up properly and spring pick up (also inside during rain) was downright pleasant. Clean, dry and fully charged batteries. Renée and her team do this right.
We’ve already signed up for next winter and are also using Tambe’s outdoor storage for our 3rd year.“

I had an AMAZING experience storing my car with Tambe storage this year. This was the first time I’ve ever stored a car away from home so I was very nervous. The team at Tambe immediately eased all of my worries. They were super responsive, friendly, and organized during both the drop off and pick up. Will definitely store with them again!
